Description: This event includes Senior, Intermediate, and Junior competitions for the live judging of five of the following species: Beef, Dairy, Sheep, Swine, Heavy Horse, Light Horse, Canine, Goat, Bison, Llama, Alpaca. Senior competitors will also be marked on one oral presentation of an assigned class. Eligibility: This competition is open to any eligible junior exhibitors who are 9 to 21 years of age as of December 31, 2015. Exhibitors do not need to be entered in another competition in order to take part. Only bonafide 4-H members are eligible to compete at the Provincial Judging Competition. Entry Fee: $10.00 + GST = $10.50/person
Provincial Judging Competition
PROVINCIAL JUDGING COMPETITION – A maximum of eight senior 4-H members from each regional qualifying judging competition (Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Lloydminster, Swift Current, Whitewood and Weyburn) will be eligible to participate in the provincial judging competition. If a participant is not chosen as a provincial team member at the Provincial Judging Competition that member may participate the following year in the regional competition. At no time will there be any person(s) on the provincial judging team for more than one year.
From the Provincial Judging Competition, a Saskatchewan team of eight members aged 17-21 will be selected to attend the Canadian National 4-H and Youth Judging Competition at Agribition.
Grand Aggregate winners from the International 4-H Judging Seminar at Agribition may enter the regional competition in Saskatoon, but are not eligible to attend the Provincial Judging Competition. (Participant will be eligible for the award certificates.)
