39th Annual Crop Production Show A Go
Prairieland is pleased to announce that the 39th annual Western Canadian Crop Production Show presented by Farm Credit Canada will take place January 10-13, 2022, kicking off Agricultural Week in the city.
The 4-day event will connect industry-leading manufacturers with decision-making producers as they showcase their latest products and services in the field of crop science and technology. Over 340 exhibitors from across the prairie provinces will be in attendance, including more than 50 new vendors, occupying 1,015 booths spread out over 240,000 square feet of trade show space.
“Prairieland recognizes the importance of this particular trade show to the community and to the economy,” says Prairieland Agriculture Manager Lori Cates. “Producers have come to depend on the event as a form of professional development. Here they can gather knowledge and make contacts that will drive their business into the future. Farmers still have to farm and feed the country; we feel privileged to be part of that journey with them,” Cates continues.
The 2022 program welcomes Nufarm as its new Information Theatre sponsor. This year’s speakers focus on topical issues such as supply chain challenges, sustainable food security, the Lake Diefenbaker irrigation project, Kochia management and more.
