Event attendee safety amid COVID-19 in Saskatoon at Prairieland Park
Amidst the global health crisis of COVID-19, Prairieland Park would like to urge guests to the facility to follow the recommendations released by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention):
- If you feel sick, stay home and seek medical attention
- Avoid close contact with those that are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
At Saskatoon Prairieland Park we take public safety very seriously. We have increased the frequency in which we are cleaning and disinfecting high touch surfaces, we have increased the number of available hand sanitizing stations and will continue to use the hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaners.
Being a gathering place of people, we know that it is important to have protocols in place to prevent the spread of infectious or respiratory illnesses. Our service staff are trained in proper food handling procedures which include regular hand washing and sanitization practices based on Saskatchewan Health Authority guidelines. Disinfecting schedules are implemented in all food & beverage preparation areas.
If events are postponed or cancelled, the event organizers and/or Prairieland Park will be notifying the public via the media, and social media. At this time, many local events are going forward as planned. Watch the media and our social media channels to see changes and updates.
