Saskatoon Prairieland Park has served the Saskatoon business community for over a century and is about to begin another chapter with the announced retirement of CEO, Mark Regier in December 2022.

Mark has served in the role of CEO since 1997 and has decided it is time to retire, allowing him to focus on spending time with his family. “These past 25 years with Mark as our CEO have seen Prairieland grow in many areas and we thank Mark for his commitment to the organization, its members, and employees,” said Cory Thoms, Board Chair. “His dedication to enhancing the facility and customer service has led to extensive growth and Prairieland becoming the successful corporation that is today.”

Mark has been involved in many projects large and small throughout his tenure, the most notable being the construction of Halls A, B, C, D, E, the dedicated Ag Center, and Sports On Tap. With Mark leading our team, we have taken our facilities, shows, and our internal services to unprecedented levels in our industry.

The Board of Directors has established a CEO search committee to lead the efforts to find a new CEO, which is now underway. The Board is very confident that all programs and services will continue uninterrupted as this transition occurs and a new CEO is hired.
